An Experience at Astha Homestay at Fagu, Shimla.
A two day shoot that required us to highlight the hospitality of the hosts and unique experiences at the stay along with a focus on its scenic location. The shoot involved covering the stay and surrounding landscape in its entirety, interacting with the members of the house and guests at the time while covering nuances of the experience that was on offer.
An Experience at The Bungalow 1934, Coorg
A two day solo shoot, that required us to highlight the rich history of this home stay in Coorg, and the unique experiences that were on offer by the host to the guests along with a focus on the location of the stay. The shoot involved covering the stay in its entirety and the landscape around, talking to the host and his family, the manager and workers at the stay. The shoot was not pre-planned due to prior commitments of the host and was an impromptu walk through shoot of the property spanning two days with large amounts of raw reel and heavy post production after the shoot. The main idea with this film was to bring out the great blend of the past and the present and the passion for hospitality and the home in each person who works there.
An Experience at Nook and Cranny, Kotagiri
Nook and Cranny has always been known for its incredible location, scenic views, wild animals roaming about in the tea estates nearby, the heartwarming hospitality, delicious food offered by the host and an on-premise bakery. With this two day shoot, our focus was to cover these aspects and take the viewer through the Nook and Cranny experience. The strategy was to do this purely through great visuals and a supporting VO that would help capture the essence of the stay. The end result is a minimalist output targeted at a niche travel audience.
